Known for being a leading manufacturer of beauty and personal care products, KDC / One was looking for a new, industry leading manufacturing space with offices that were equally as innovative. With over 15,000 employees across 50+ manufacturing and research development facilities, KDC / One wanted a space that allowed for the highest level of employee engagement, collaboration and aesthetic beauty.

Office Revolution delivered furnishings for all public and private areas of this impressive 569,000 sq ft facility, providing a wide range of furnishings to cater to employees’ changing needs. Flexible design can inspire teams to work more creatively and collaborate more effectively. Teknion upStage workstations and Expansion desking were used in individual workspaces with mounted fabric screens and moveable storage elements that create space-efficient work zones. Throughout the office there’s a variety of seating options including OFS The Edge angled lounge with overhead canopy that brings a versatile and flexible space for shifting needs. With casual gathering places taking precedence over formal meeting space, huddle rooms have been furnished with comfortable seating options like OFS Rowen Sofa and Boost ottomans to encourage more informal meetings.

The project was a wonderfully collaborative experience between Office Revolution and KDC / One. Ian Kalinosky, President of Specialty Retail at KDC / One, was personally invested in ensuring that their employees’ concerns were heard and adopted throughout the space. The result is a one-of-a-kind facility that raises the standard of manufacturing working environments.
