“Heritage-Crystal Clean (HCC) occupied its previous headquarters in the same space for almost 20 years. Our new CEO, Brian Recatto, wanted a space that reflected our ESG story and incorporated attributes consistent with modern offices,” says Margo Block, Corporate Office Manager, Heritage-Crystal Clean. “Our employees had previously shared what was important to them, and key in their minds was a modern, clean functional office.

“Office Revolution took the time needed to understand our own unique business, our culture, and what was important to our employees. They helped navigate HCC through the overwhelming process of reviewing finishes, furniture and accessories and did it in a way that felt engaging, intuitive, and fun,” she says.

This thoughtfully constructed 40,000 sq. ft. office engages you through a visual oasis of warm white archways and sable hues alongside saturated indigo and topaz walls and fabrics—infusing natural elements from Crystal Clean’s sustainability story.

In the open area, Teknion Leverage height-adjustable workstations bring flexibility and function. Conference rooms are furnished with Teknion Expansion meeting tables and Tek Vue Architectural Interiors (bundling walls with furnishings allow a significant value add). Teknion Audience credenzas in Pecan and Ebony complement, with Just Us conference chairs neatly nestled. The expansive board room comfortably accommodates up to 16 at the Nienkamper Vox Conference table, without feeling overwhelming.

Near the cafe, OFS Obeya semi-private frame systems with translucent, sliding curtains were used to define smaller spaces within the floorplan. OFS Heya booths complement throughout, upholstered in warm Flora Persimmon partial surrounds to create comfortable environments for teams to closely connect and collaborate.

Careful selection of furniture was essential in creating a space that would embody Crystal Clean’s vision. The combination of natural hues and soft textures with linear organic designs ensured this goal was executed successfully.
