“During the design of our new office, we reached out to several [furniture dealers], but one stood out immediately – Office Revolution. From the very first interaction, their professionalism and dedication were evident. Their staff took the time to understand our needs, preferences, and the layout of our office. This level of personalization gave us confidence that we were in capable hands. They understood that a well-designed workspace isn’t just about appearances; it’s about creating an environment that fosters productivity and comfort.
The installation process was seamless, and I was amazed by the efficiency of their team. It was clear that they took immense pride in their work and were committed to delivering a flawless result. Now that we’ve been using the new workstation furniture for a while, I can confidently say that it has transformed our workspace.
Office Revolution’s dedication to understanding their customers’ needs, their impeccable attention to detail, and their commitment to exceptional service truly set them apart.”
THE STORY
Clark Nexsen—the largest architecture and design firm in the Research Triangle of North Carolina, with locations throughout the Southeast—provides design solutions and expertise to a wide range of markets. With a mission to create spaces and experiences that profoundly impact the lives of those who interact with them, Clark Nexsen tapped into their existing partnership with Office Revolution to furnish their next generation, Smoky Hollow space in downtown Raleigh.
“Smoky Hollow is a mixed-use distinctive urban district, revitalizing the northern gateway to downtown Raleigh,” Kane Realty Corporation comments, with “Class A office space, an energetic pedestrian promenade…encompassing engaging restaurants, several outdoor community events and live music performances.”
This vibrant location serves as the perfect environment to harness the creativity of Clark Nexsen’s team and innovative Combustion Chamber as they “fuel experimentation and discovery within the professional realm of architectural design.”
In response to the increasing prevalence of remote and hybrid work models, Clark Nexsen sought out Office Revolution’s expertise in furnishing a flexible workspace. The aim was to create an environment that fosters teamwork while providing employees with the comfort of home, ultimately encouraging them to return to the office.
The conference rooms have been thoughtfully designed with Tek Vue glass storefronts which provide double focus glass to effectively attenuate any noise from the model workshop. This ensures that sounds from machinery such as table saws are kept within designated workspaces without causing any disruptions in the conference rooms.
The Teknion Expansion Cityline workstations are designed to meet the needs of a diverse and dynamic workplace, much like a modern city. With the aim of creating neighborhoods or team zones, these workstations promote activity and movement while also facilitating privacy and focus when needed. The concept behind Expansion Cityline is to empower individuals and teams alike, by creating mixed-use areas and workstations that facilitate the pursuit of collective goals while ensuring individual comfort.
To enhance the overall working experience, a range of diverse seating options were thoughtfully implemented in the office for breakout sessions and collaborative work. We opted for the Studio TK Vettore sofa, upholstered in Luum Structured Stripe – Box Motion fabric that complements the organic softness of the Studio TK Beso lounge chair and Havn occasional table, creating a cohesive and professional atmosphere.
The effective combination of adaptable furniture and home-like comforts has resulted in an atmosphere that is both inviting and engaging, driving employees back to the office with renewed motivation. The completed space reflects the synergy of our partnership, creating a professional environment where individuals and teams can work efficiently together.
